Celebrations of art and culture can be found throughout Cowal. The Queens Hall in Dunoon sits in an inspirational location in an elevated position over the town. An events programme of concerts and plays is ongoing throughout the year. The Burgh Hall is a newly established community arts centre which is putting on a great range of events to showcase local talent as well as invited performances from elsewhere.

Theatre and Concerts throughout Cowal

In the South West of Cowal Portavadie Marina on Loch Fyne provides a fabulous venue for the Walking Theatre Company during the summer months. Meanwhile in the South East of Cowal, Fiddlefolk , based in Lochgoilhead, teach traditional fiddle, and other instruments, to youngsters and adults in Cowal and Argyll; they also present the best traditional musicians in concerts and events at local community venues.
