The annual events programme encompasses all that is great about Cowal from food, music and walking festivals, to open studios and sailing regattas, while the Cowal Highland Gathering is the largest and most spectacular in the world. There are also delighful local events; not to be missed are the family nature events organised by the Forestry Commission and found on the local events listing

Around every corner in Cowal there is another delightful community with plenty going on and extending a warm and friendly welcome. Cowal Open Studios includes 40 artists exhibiting their work and taking you to a wonderful variety of the special places of Cowal.
