The area is also full of history and standing stones, burial cairns and rock carvings abound. Tighnabruaich, 4 miles, provides a selection of shops for local supplies and also several pubs, all of which serve food, and a special local bistro with superb sea food which is to be highly recommended.

 

The town of Dunoon is within easy reach and has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. An abundance of outdoor activities are on offer with marked walks, cycling, sailing, sea fishing, windsurfing, fast speed RIB boat tours, quad bikes, clay shooting and more. Shop 3 miles, pubs ½ mile.
