The Lodge on Loch Goil
Built in 1864, The Lodge has been lovingly restored and now houses one of the UK's largest collections of Arts and Crafts furniture and antiques. The seven luxury bedrooms, dramatic sitting room and cosy whisky bar all display period charm, whilst the spectacular dining room exhibits fine examples of original stained-glass windows by Daniel Cottier, hand-painted wallpaper, oak-panelled walls and parquet floor.

Perfect for Weddings
Contained within the beautiful gardens are two surprises: the magnificent Tree House, perfect for a unique wedding ceremony or private dining experience; and the Summerhouse, a secluded self-contained cottage on the shores of the loch offering the ultimate peace and privacy - the ultimate honeymoon retreat.
Organic menus provide an authentic taste of Scotland
As well as the glorious views across Loch Goil to the imposing mountains beyond, the fresh scent of the sea wafting from the water's edge and the soothing trickle of the burn that tumbles from the hills behind, a visit to The Lodge also guarantees to tantalise the taste buds. The organic menus are replete with locally-sourced meat and seafood combined with herbs and vegetables grown in The Lodge's own kitchen garden to create a true taste of Scotland. Guests can also pick up culinary tips at one of the regular cook school courses.
