The Butler's Quarters, Ardkinglas House

Enjoy the true atmosphere of this magical place by staying in the Butlers Quarters, a unique self catering holiday apartment within Ardkinglas House. The two bedroom apartment, suitable for up to five people, is on the garden side of the house, offering peace & quiet and the opportunity to walk directly from your door straight into the remarkable eighteenth century garden to the north of the house.

Some garden furniture is provided, where you can sit and enjoy the open view down the length of Loch Fyne. Although newly equipped, the layout and interior finishes are essentially unchanged from a hundred years ago when the rooms were occupied by the butler and other male staff.

You will be given free entry to the Ardkinglas Woodland Garden during your stay. From the house you can also walk round the policies and down the unspoiled east side of Loch Fyne. There are many excellent restaurants within easy driving reach, including the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, the George Hotel, the Creggan's Inn and Invercottage.

Prices range from £300 to £550 pw. Short break prices available on request. We have a no smoking policy. No pets permitted.
