Glendaruel Holiday Park and Camping

Our holiday park is the perfect escape but also very central to all the attractions of Cowal. In our wooded parkland you can watch the red squirrels, birds and other wildife, discover waterfalls, go walking, fishing and cycling. We care that you have a truly good holiday and we will be only too pleased to suggest activities, plan outings and help in any way we can.

Family friendly holiday park and camping

Our park is very family friendly with a safe children's play area and a separate area for ball games. There is also a new play park in the Clachan, 2.5 miles away.

Walking and outdoor activities

There are pleasant walks in the scenic glen and the surrounding hills and fly fishing for salmon and sea trout on the River Ruel. We have permits available in the shop for the Ruel. The Cowal Way runs right past the Caravan Park and if you don't want to carry a tent we can pitch one for you.

Lots of local attractions

Nearby is amazing Kilmodan Church and carved stones, well worth a visit, and within a few miles the ferry from Colintraive to the Island of Bute. We have arranged a number of discounts for our visitors at local attractions
