Blairmore Gallery and Fairtrade Coffee Shop

In Blairmore Gallery, we work closely with local crafters and artists to provide "accessible and affordable art in a stunning location". Blairmore Gallery, awarded 4 stars by Visit Scotland, is the only gallery in Argyll to belong to the Visit Scotland accreditation scheme; this demonstrates that we have consistently high standards, and that by meeting the award criteria we have a good quality venue, with friendly service, and a range of arts and crafts that give great choice to the visitor, and locals alike.

 

The largest Gallery in Cowal, we have a plethora of quality arts and crafts whilst enjoying stunning views across Loch Long. Most of the work is by skilled artists and crafters based in Cowal, an inspirational paradise, but we also have a range of Fairtrade gifts which offer our customers some unique and interesting gift ideas. We host exhibitions, which change every 4 or 5 weeks inviting well know artists such as Davy Brown to exhibit, alongside artists based locally such as David Morrison, Ronnie Ford, Pam Glennie, and Raymond Murray. Often group shows involve displays of glass enamel, jewellery, ceramics and textile/needlework items.

The Fairtrade Coffee Shop compliments the Art ... we serve fresh ground coffee; Latte, Espresso and Cappuccino, tea, fruit infusions and so on. Also we serve delicious home baked scones, tray bakes, muffins and light meals. Popular with locals and visitors to the area - the combination of art, craft, and coffee allows everyone to enjoy our relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Admission is free
